Part III quiz will happen tomorrow. Writer's notebooks will be collected tomorrow.
Work on your prompt card revisions, make sure to follow the following steps:
Give your writing an original title. What is it about? Make up a title that reflects that
Put your writing in MLA format with proper heading, spacing, margins, font choice, and everything.
Make sure your writing is at LEAST half a page. This requirement does NOT include the heading, so all writings should go past the 1/2 page mark.
Your writing should show growth and evidence of making revisions based on the the suggestions that you were given.
On the bottom of your page, I want you to write a short reflection of the writing process. (This reflection does not count towards your 1/2 page writing....) Please answer the questions in complete sentences.
What made you choose to revise this writing?
What was difficult about revision?
What was suggested that you work on?
What did you decide to improve on your own?
What do you think a strength of this writing is?
What areas do you feel weak in as a writer?
When revising, you may want to ask yourself these questions
When finished with your revisions, make sure that your Part III questions are complete and that you are up to date on part III of Fahrenheit 451 for tomorrow's quiz. Also make sure your writer's notebook is ready to be check and all entries are titled and dated, as well as thoughtful reflections on the prompts.
When all of that is complete, you may read an IR book. Projects will be due in March, so get reading!
